“Why would you need a poet to make things more complex?”

When I first came across Sakwon’s art, ofc I thought it was beautiful. I was immediately reminded of renaissance art, but add a twist of what you would call today’s “chill aesthetic”. The combination of the two, is what I would use to describe Sakwon’s art style. It’s truly unique and will stop you in your tracks. Lastly from expressions captured on each face, to the shadows created by the creases in the clothes and cloth draped around the angles. You can see how much detail, time and energy is put into creating each piece

Sakwon’s artwork is a splendid feast for the eyes and always uniquely his work. No matter what the subject matter when I come across one of his pieces, I can identify it as Sakwon’s work, it’s almost as if his creative expression through whichever medium is his fingerprint.
